The authors present a retrospective study on cases of malignant epithelial neoplasms in dogs and cats, over a period of time of two years (2013-2015), diagnosed in the Medical Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, within the cytology and hematology laboratory, with a quick and easy technique as the cytomorphological exam. In this paper work, based on the studied cases (39 dogs and 11 cats), we intend to bring new information related to the incidence of these cancer forms in the two species, analising several aspects: solid tumors with various anatomical localizations (mammary gland, perianal region, testicle etc.), celullar proliferation of cavitary fluids and internal viscera solid tumors. Our study shows how of a great importance is to corroborate the clinical investigations with laboratory investigations. Our study demonstrated the possibility of double cancers or metastases, which are very important data for the therapy.

The complete medical records of nine thousand five hundred and forty-one dogs who were admitted in the Surgery Clinic of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Timisoara, between years 2000 and 2015 were reviewed. In this study we included one hundred fifty-four dogs which have been diagnosed with panosteitis. We reported the signalment, bodyweight, breed, gender, clinical features and treatments. The extracted data were statistically processed and compared with another studies Panosteitis is an idiopathic disease of the young dogs, which usually affects large breeds. Long bones are preferentially affected. Clinical signs are lameness, decreased appetite and activity, rarely muscular atrophy, painful diaphysis at palpation. The radiographic modifications are essentially, an increased density of the medullary cavity, loss of normal trabecular pattern, periosteal reaction. In medical records of the Surgery Clinic of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Timisoara canine panosteitis is a common orthopedic condition in the growing dogs and it affects large breeds. The German shepherd and mixed breed are most commonly affected with panosteitis. The predilection for males to have panosteitis is reliable and important. An acute onset of mild to moderate lameness is the typical history that was registered. The treatment was based on rest associated with anti-inflammatory drugs administration.

Breeding technology of dairy cows represents a set of organizational and technical measures, including sanitary - veterinary, what have the final result, on the one hand, a large number of products from an animal and, on the other hand, getting some of the greatest productions of milk. To develop a proper breeding activity, breeders, with the help of experts in the field, you have to know and abide by certain principles and certain factors that influence this activity, known as the upward growth of the herd of cattle from the farms is the result of breeding work carried out. One of these factors is rather frequent, distocya completed, sometimes with loss of calf mortality, influenced by maintenance conditions, irrational diet pregnant female, inadequate sanitary - veterinary conditions. Breeding activity must have the priority objective getting each year from each cow, a normal calving because milk production occurs after birth. This is achieved through an appropriate interval between calving and designed to prevent a disturbance of reproductive function of dairy cows. This paper presents a study carried out in a professional holding, on the zooeconomics implications of gestations and parturitions complicated that degenerates into various types of distocya, some quite serious, having major repercussions on both indices of breeding and milk production of cattle on the farm.

This paper aims at the study of Pt electrode ability to act as working electrode in cyclic voltammetric sulphite assay. The analytical signal is represented by the intensity measured for the voltammetric peak, that corresponds to analyte anodic oxidation. The measured peak intensity depends linearly on sulphite concentration within the range 0.031 g/L – 4 g/L. The assay is characterized by a limit of detection of 12.4 mg /L, a relative standard deviation of 2.74%, and the process proved controlled by the analyte diffusion to the electrode.

The coypu (Myocastor coypus) is a semi-aquatic mammal rodent, native from South America. Besides the fact that they are resistant to diseases and eat less, the coypu are useful for the precious fur and also for the tasty meat. After analyzing the bibliographic material it was noted that the data referring to the anatomy of this species are very sketchy, in particular those relating to the lymphatic system. For this reason I have chosen this topic, aiming to complement the existing data in the literature on the morphology of the muscular lymph nodes, at coypu. For the necessary investigations from this study, have been used corpses of coypu. After dissection it has been noted that existence of the mandibular, parotid, lateral retropharyngeal, rostral hyoidian, axillary and accessories lymph nodes. At the macroscopically level it was not possible to certainly determine the existence of superficial cervical lymph nodes, instead were described in detail the axillary lymph nodes, which is not found in this species bibliographic data. After dissection it was noted the presence of one lymph node, bilateral, at 40% of the dissected individuals (two specimens out of five). Their topography is the one characteristic to another domestic species, being situated caudal from the scapulo-humeral articulation, between the thoracic member and trunk, caudal to the emergence of the caudal cutaneous nerve of the forearm (the ulnar nerve).

The present study is performed on a number of 4 bodies of nutria. At this species, the azygos vein is placed on the right side, opening in cranial vena cava at the third intercostal space level, after intersecting from top to bottom the right side of the trachea and esophagus. At coypu, the vagal nerve is in direct contact with dorsolateral edge of the trachea. The parietal and visceral lymph nodes of the thoracic cavity were studied using the China 40% ink dye colouring method. The method used for highlight the lymph nodes was the stratigraphic and regional dissection, up to the limit of the visibility, and subsequently using the Nikon stereo microscope. The studied lymph centres are represented by the dorsal thoracal, ventral thoracal, mediastinal and bronchial lymph centers. No dorsal thoracic lymph centre was identifiable at the investigated animals. The left brhonchial lymph node has a smaller dimension compared to the right bronchial lymph node. The medial mediastinal lymph nodes are identifiable especially on the right side. There were no cranial mediastinal lypmh nodes found during the dissection. The caudal mediastinal lymph nodes were found macroscopical, but is but their presence is advisable to carry out histological examination certification. The present lymph nodes from the thoracic cavity are reduced by number. In the discussion framework it were highlighted the medial mediasnital lymph nodes on the right side. On the right side of the stern, at the level of the second rib, it is well represented the cranial sternal lymph node. This lymph node belongs to the ventral thoracal lymph node and it appears constant as presence.

An important part of chickens rising is feeding. A good nutrition is reflected in the bird's performance and its products. Actually the use of additives feed as immunostimulatory is in a great scale. For these reasons our investigations were aimed at studying the influence of metabolites of streptomycetes strains on the main indices of chicken’s productivity. Actinomycetes are a group of prokaryotic microorganisms with many important producers of biologically active substances known to wide application in human and veterinary medicine. In our experiments was used the dry biomass and exometabolites of streptomycetes which were administered to 3 groups of chickens since one day age respectively in combefeed a dry biomass - 1g/1kg and cultural liquid - 1ml/1 l in drinking water, daily. The duration of examination period was 70 days. From each group of chickens periodically were sampled blood to investigate the total serum protein, albumins and cholesterol. As a results was established that the total protein in blood serum of experimental groups chickens I and II which was feed with streptomycetes biomass and cultural liquid in drinking water, at the age of 15 days was 31,23 and 30,53 g /l compared with 28,83 g /l on chickens from the control group, respectively albumins was 13,67 g/l compared with 12,33 g / l in the control chickens group, and cholesterol was 4,63 and 4,3 g/l on chickens in groups I and II compared with 4,5 g/l on chickens from the control group. The obtaining results show that the metabolites of streptomycetes has the stimulatory effect to some blood biochemical indexes of chickens.

The transfusion reactions represents one of the major risks of transfusion therapy, regardless of the blood product used, whole blood, erythro-concentrate or frozen plasma. This paper presents the evolution of transfusion reactions and treatment of 60 dogs during the period 2014-2016 monitored in the Clinics of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest. The clinical signs, CBC, biochemistry were observed for all dogs as the animals came to the clinics. The treatment provided has a base content of glucocorticoid mixture of drugs and complementary symptomatic therapy. The glucocorticoid therapy refers to the usage of hemi-succinate hydrocortisone at the beginning of each transfusion and at the administration of Prednisolone at the end. The glucocorticoid combo therapy was used in all transfusions, regardless of the product or sub-product of blood being used. For 70% of the cases was used whole blood, for 20% erythro-concentrate and for 10% plasma. The data processed using the parameters above shows a decreased number of transfusion reactions when used the glucocorticoid drug combo on the 50% of the case load in comparison to the other 50% which did not receive the glucocorticoid therapy prior to transfusion. This study shows that the glucocorticoid combo therapy might be helpful in a variety of cases in which the pathology presented allows the usage of glucocorticoid therapy.

The colostrum secretion of different mammalian species contains heterogeneous cellular populations which come from lactiferous structures and from the general circulation, including various types of epithelial cells, respectively leukocytes. During the synthetis and milk-ejection process, in lactation are involved different types of epithelial cells, with a wide morphological and functional diversity. The aim of this research is represented by the cytomorphological investigation of the first jennet colostrum, which was drawn from healthy mammary gland. The colostrum samples were processed in stained slides, using Dia Quick Panoptic method and they were examined at the microscope and they were evaluated by using the milk cytogram technique (Ognean et al., 2011). The conducted studies have highlighted morphological elements and activity states necessary for the characterization of the cellular populations, regarding the morpho-functional description of the epithelial cells. The results revealed a significant percentage of the epithelial cells in the jennet colostrum. In the configuration of this cellular population, we have identified alveolar, squamous and columnar epithelial cells. The alveolar cells have prevailed among the epithelial cells and they have reflected the secretory activity of the alveolar epithelium. The squamous epithelial cells were distinguished due to their predominant polygonal cytoplasm and the punctiform nucleous, while the columnar epithelial cells were elongate, ovalar or polygonal, with a porous structure. A special category was represented by the atypical cellular structures, that were polymorphous and sometimes mixed with cytoplasmatic particles and cellular debris. The results were analysed in the context of encouraging the use of the mammary epithelial cells in different domains of the scientific research. In conclusion, the high content of the epithelial cells in the jennet mammary secretions represent a disposable resource for the molecular study of the mammary gene expression, lactogenesis, immunity or mammary cancer.

Reconstruction of a long bone marrow is recommended in literature to remedy job by fixation with plates and screws or external fixation. In cases where small shirks are interested and a significant portion of bone length two metals are difficult to apply and sometimes resorting to amputation of the affected limb. Fix these cases with multiple cerclage if the most times to recovery of the same dimensions of the member member congener . Formerly an experiment performed on 4 cases of dogs and cats 5 cases of comminuted fracture which suffered femur and care were recovered version excess of 85%.
